We bring the psychoanalytic tradition into organisational consulting — and we teach what we do in our own work with companies and groups.
History
How it began
The Institute for Psychodynamic Coaching was founded in 2019 as an international platform for training professionals who work with groups. Since then more than two hundred people — executives, coaches, psychologists and consultants from many countries — have completed the annual programme.
The institute grew out of business consulting practice: the problems companies brought turned out, again and again, to rest not on strategy or process but on the unconscious dynamics of relationships. The programme was assembled as an answer to those problems.
Method
How we teach
Our teaching rests on three principles: individuality, self-development and the participant’s own responsibility for the result. We do not hand out ready-made schemes; we create the conditions in which a professional position can form.
Theory therefore always sits alongside two practices: supervision, where a participant’s own work is examined, and the process group, where the participant is inside the very dynamic being studied. There is no way to understand a group process without having been in one.

Ekaterina Belokoskova-Mikhailova
PhD in philosophy, group analyst, author of "Psychoanalysis of Business". A graduate of the Russian Academy of Sciences mathematics school and, with honours, of the Faculty of Philosophy at Lomonosov Moscow State University. One of the first specialists to develop psychodynamic coaching in Russia; recipient of an American Psychological Association award.
